Bodhrans
Bodhrans are a staple of Irish heritage, made from stretched animal skin with a wooden frame.
Evolved from the tambourine, they are typically found in folk music and can be performed either by hand or with a tipper.
Here at B Sharp Music shop Ireland we offer tuneable and non-tuneable bodhrans at all different sizes with incredible designs to choose from.
The bodhran is struck either with the bare hand or with a lathe-turned piece of wood called a bone, tipper, beater, or cipín. Buy the right bodhran beater for you at our online store B Sharp Music Instruments Ireland.
